Dear colleagues,
We cordially invite you to the 15th Prophylaxis Seminar of the Kompetenznetz Schlaganfall.
We believe that organizing a series of training courses on stroke prevention for almost 15 years is something of a tradition. The variety of topics, the many speakers from Germany and abroad and our always very interested audience allow us to look back on the last few years together with you with a little pride. And it goes on! To mark our small anniversary, we would like to bring a breath of fresh air to the prophylaxis seminar and have decided to make a few changes: Firstly, the date. Our training series no longer takes place in winter, but in spring. Secondly, we would like to further intensify the exchange with our participants. At the end of our training day, we now offer on-site participants the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in workshops and clarify any unanswered questions. We choose two topics from the program, which can then be discussed further in a small group with the speakers. For our upcoming event, we have chosen secondary prophylaxis after stroke and the new antibody therapy for dementia. This is because one of the main topics this time will be cognitive disorders and dementia, the prevention of which is aimed at treating vascular risk factors in a similar way to strokes. As always, there will of course be an update for them in the various presentations. New findings on heart-brain interactions will also be discussed. We will continue to offer the lectures with subsequent discussion as a hybrid format, so you can also take part remotely.
The event was certified by the Berlin Medical Association with 7 continuing education points (lectures and workshops) and 5 points (lectures only).
We would be delighted if you would also make your colleagues aware of our seminar.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
